Women eat less when dining with men 04/17/2010

Here's another interesting - but hardly earth shattering - little revelation about the differences in dating behavior between men and women: Psychological testing has revealed that women tend to eat less when on a date with a man than at other times.

The researches who carried out the study believe that this is because smaller meals signal attractiveness. Although why that might be is not clear. Perhaps it's because it shows the man that the woman is very conscious of her weight, and wishes to be pleasing to the eye? Or maybe it's to highlight the difference in behavior - in much the same way that women wear dresses as opposed to trousers?

When I first met my ex-girlfriend she was so fixed on what she did in front of me which included eating small meals it was cute at first but when her true colors showed then it was time to get out of there, lol..

Funny how we do things when we are in love??
